Short answers on quality, setup, cost and your data. Up front: ZYBR is set up in minutes, not weeks.
A chatbot only knows what you paste into it. ZYBR works right inside your inbox and knows the whole case for every request:
ZYBR recognizes what the request is about, how sensitive it is and where it sits in your process: ordered, in transit, delivered or being returned. Then it replies by your rules for exactly this case, in under a minute as a finished draft in the ticket.
ZYBR only makes promises your rules cover. Threats, letters from lawyers or reported hazards never go out automatically.
For a few inquiries a day, maybe. Then you host it yourself, keep the connection to Shopify and your inbox running and maintain the knowledge by hand.
With ZYBR, all of that is included. You run nothing and we keep developing it for you.
BRAIN knows your shop including your rules and learns from every action you and your team take. It syncs products, pages, legal pages and shipping rules with Shopify every night.
You don't maintain instructions for that. We developed the knowledge technology behind BRAIN ourselves and keep expanding it.
Yes. Inbox, returns center and analytics are one system, natively synced with Shopify.
Whatever happens in Shopify, your team sees instantly in ZYBR. No export, no second tool.
Then tell us. We build most requests. ZYBR specializes in customer service for online shops, so we decide faster than large vendors who have to juggle a lot at once. What we build next is decided by the shops using ZYBR: the more feedback you give us, the more of it gets built. A request is often done within a few days.
You submit your request right in ZYBR via “Request a feature”. If something isn’t working, use “Report a problem”. Both go straight to our team. You can also reach us by email, phone or WhatsApp. On top of that, our team follows the latest AI research and adds new models as soon as they answer measurably better. You get every improvement automatically, with no update and no rebuild. With a homemade setup, nobody has your back on that.
Yes, without any copy-pasting. Upload your email archive and ZYBR turns it into knowledge for your shop. ZYBR learns the voice from the replies your team sends.
If there are still open inquiries in your inbox, import them and have them answered after the fact.
Then ZYBR writes six times the replies, with no new setup and no temp staff. A homemade chatbot or a customer service team made only of people becomes the bottleneck exactly when you need it most.
Yes. No plan limits the number of team members and you use roles to set what each person may see and approve.
Everything works in the browser, on a laptop, a tablet or a phone on the go. It all runs through your shop's account, not through one person's private chat login.
Yes. ZYBR is built for shop teams, not developers: one inbox for all channels, the draft is already in the ticket and you can approve it right there.
New team members work with it from day one, with no prompt training. You can also dictate replies instead of typing.
AI is most useful for recurring enquiries: where is my order, how do I return something or will this size fit? It reads the enquiry, retrieves the order and delivery status and writes a reply. In ZYBR, you decide by topic whether the reply is sent automatically or saved as a draft for your team.
No. AI takes routine work off your team's hands while people make decisions in sensitive cases. ZYBR stops when it detects warning signs and passes the case to your team. You decide which topics can be answered automatically. Automatic sending is off by default; you enable it one topic at a time.
A chatbot answers questions using text it has been given. An AI agent also takes action: it retrieves the order, checks your rules for goodwill or replacements and can create a discount code. In ZYBR, you decide what the agent may do independently and what your team must approve first.
Yes, when it learns from your real replies instead of a template. ZYBR reads what your team sends and learns greetings, tone and typical phrasing, optionally for each team member. Every correction to a draft becomes part of its knowledge, bringing the next reply closer to your style.
A ticketing system turns each customer enquiry into a case with a status, conversation history and assigned owner instead of letting it get lost in an inbox. For an online shop, it should display the related order, bring channels together and enable teamwork. ZYBR does this for Shopify and prepares the reply draft too.
ZYBR is built for this: it connects your shop and answers in German or your customer's language using order and delivery details from Shopify. Email, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook come together in one inbox. ZYBR also reads the photos, PDFs and voice messages your customers send.
No, they sound like your shop. ZYBR learns the voice from the replies your team actually sends, even per team member.
You set the greeting, sign-off and word list once.
Not always, which is why ZYBR doesn't guess. If a detail is missing, it asks a targeted question.
It only promises a replacement or refund if your rules allow it for exactly that case. Only what you enable per category goes out automatically.
Then you correct the draft before it's sent. ZYBR BRAIN learns from every action you and your team take and uses that for the next replies.
For lawyer letters, threats or reported hazards like a swollen battery, ZYBR never sends automatically. These cases always stay with your team.
For replies sent automatically, ZYBR adds an AI notice by default.
If your team sends the reply itself, the notice is left out. You can also turn it on for every reply.
Yes. ZYBR reads forwarded emails, identifies the enquiry and writes a reply using your shop data. You choose the topics for which replies may be sent automatically. For everything else, a completed draft appears in the ticket so your team can check it and send it with one click.
Very little. You install the Shopify app and forward your customer emails to ZYBR and from then on ZYBR writes the replies.
For forwarding, there's a guide for your email provider. You only connect your domain once ZYBR should send on its own.
No. ZYBR reads in your shop on its own and learns from every action you and your team take.
You can also upload documents or your email archive. You don't need them to get started.
From the first forwarded email. ZYBR writes the draft with the order and shipping status as soon as the email arrives.
Email, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger and PayPal disputes, all in one inbox.
For Facebook and Instagram, you decide per channel whether ZYBR replies on its own. In WhatsApp, your team always gets a finished draft.
Shopify. ZYBR is built for Shopify and pulls orders live from your shop, not from a copy.
Installing the app connects your shop.
Yes, in your own words, without coding. Just write in your rules for goodwill, replacements or discounts, separately for each type of request. ZYBR follows them.
For late deliveries, ZYBR can create a personal discount code in your Shopify store on request and add it to the reply.
No. You get new features and better AI models automatically, with no update and no rebuild.
We keep developing ZYBR and build in whatever measurably improves the replies.

Yes, in both directions. ZYBR creates every return from the customer portal as a real return in Shopify.
If you approve, close or decline a return in Shopify, it shows up in the returns center instantly. When the return is processed, ZYBR books the items back into your inventory.
Topics, trends and sentiment in your inbox, plus returns by reason, product and variant. All in the same system, no export.
Coming soon: heatmaps, automated reports and the analyst you can ask questions in your own words.
In a returns portal, customers register a return, choose the reason and receive a label without emailing you. This reduces messages and gives you data. ZYBR connects the portal to customer service: if someone later asks about their return, the AI knows its status.
First, find out why products come back. ZYBR analyses returns by reason and shows which products stand out, such as sizing, descriptions or quality. You can use these findings to improve size charts, product photos or descriptions. ZYBR also answers questions before purchase to help prevent unsuitable orders.
There are dedicated returns apps and helpdesks with returns features. ZYBR belongs to the latter: its portal creates a DHL label, can issue a refund after goods arrive and shares a system with customer service. If you need other carriers, dedicated returns apps currently offer a wider choice.
Since 19 June 2026, German online shops must provide a withdrawal function under section 356a BGB: a clearly visible button, available throughout the withdrawal period, that guides customers through two steps. The shop must then email a confirmation straight away. An email address alone is no longer enough. ZYBR includes the button as a block for your Shopify theme.
The AI needs access to the order and shipment; otherwise it can only give general answers. ZYBR retrieves both live from Shopify, tells the customer the current status and sends the reply automatically if you have enabled that topic. This works through email, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook.
Usually two: a tracking app for shipping notifications and a helpdesk for the enquiries that still arrive. ZYBR handles the second part using the delivery status Shopify has for the order. The AI can then answer questions about the parcel without your team having to look it up.
The app runs in Frankfurt, the database in Belgium and the Netherlands and files are stored in EU data centers.
With ZYBR BRAIN, the default for new shops, your shop knowledge and the AI models also run in the EU. The models compute in Paris and Gravelines, France. You sign the GDPR data processing agreement during setup.
No tool is GDPR-compliant by itself; what matters is how it is used. Check where data is processed, whether a data processing agreement is available and how the provider uses the data. ZYBR's application runs in Frankfurt, its database in Belgium and the Netherlands and, with ZYBR BRAIN, its AI models in France.
Generally yes, if you use the data only to handle the enquiry, the provider processes it only on your instructions, a data processing agreement exists and your privacy notice explains the use. Additional rules apply when AI decides refunds on its own. With ZYBR, training on your customer data is excluded by contract.
ZYBR BRAIN catches up on it every night on its own. It syncs products, pages, legal pages, shipping rules and blog with Shopify and ZYBR pulls orders live anyway.
If two details contradict each other, like two return windows, BRAIN shows you and you decide. Every Sunday you see which customer questions still lack knowledge.
Check where the application, database and AI model each run, as these are often different locations. ZYBR's application runs in Frankfurt, its database is in Belgium and the Netherlands and, with ZYBR BRAIN, its AI models run in Paris and Gravelines in France. You sign the GDPR data processing agreement during setup.
Set up in minutes. Then you decide which topics ZYBR answers on its own.
