- A conversation is not a reply. Tidio counts conversations, ZYBR counts AI replies. One conversation can hold several replies. So calculate with your own monthly volume.

Tidio starts with the chat on your website. ZYBR starts with the inbox and the order data. Most differences follow from that.

Who Tidio fits and who ZYBR fits
Both tools are good, but for different jobs. What matters is where your customers write to you.
- Tidio is strong at chat on your website. It adds chatbots and a free plan. That suits small stores that want to start with chat.
- ZYBR fits Shopify stores where most questions come by email. The AI answers questions about orders, delivery and returns with real order data.
- ZYBR does not fit if the chat on your website is your main channel. ZYBR lists email, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook as channels. ZYBR does not offer a website chat.
- How to decide. Look at which channel brings most requests. Count them for one month. Then calculate both prices with that volume.
How to switch from Tidio to ZYBR
A switch does not have to happen in one day. You can run both tools side by side for a while.
- Start with ZYBR. You install the Shopify app and forward your customer emails. Then you check the first drafts with your team.
- Sending step by step. You turn on automatic sending only for the topics you choose. Until then, no reply goes out without a check.
- Old conversations. On its pricing page and FAQ, Tidio mentions importing Zendesk articles for Lyro. It mentions no tool for moving old conversations there. Save important threads before you cancel.

Tidio has a free plan with 50 conversations per month. Starter costs $29 per month billed monthly or $24.17 billed yearly. Growth starts at $59 or $49.17. As of 28 October 2026.
What does the AI agent Lyro cost?
Lyro is added to the plan. The first 50 AI conversations are free once. After that, 50 conversations cost $39 per month or $32.50 billed yearly. 1,000 conversations cost $700 billed monthly.
Can ZYBR replace Tidio?
For email, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook, yes. For the chat on your website, no, ZYBR does not offer one. Some stores therefore use both tools: Tidio for chat and ZYBR for the inbox.
Where does Tidio store data?
According to the FAQ, data sits on servers in the European Economic Area. The contracting party is Tidio LLC based in San Francisco. The terms name OpenAI, Anthropic and Google Cloud as AI services.
