Who Trengo fits and who ZYBR fits

Trengo and ZYBR both run on servers in Europe. The difference is what the tool does with a request.

Trengo is strong for teams that talk over many channels, above all WhatsApp. One plan covers a whole team of 10 or 20 users.
ZYBR fits Shopify stores that want to answer questions about orders, shipping and returns quickly. The AI writes with real order data. Returns run in the same system.
ZYBR does not fit if you need a chat on your website or a phone hotline. ZYBR does not offer them.
How to decide. Count how many requests are about orders. If it is the majority, depth in Shopify matters more than the number of channels.

How to switch from Trengo to ZYBR

Plan the switch calmly. Both tools can run side by side for a while.

Start with ZYBR. You install the Shopify app and forward your customer emails. Then you check the first drafts with your team.
Sending step by step. You turn on automatic sending only for the topics you choose. Until then, no reply goes out without a check.
WhatsApp number. If your WhatsApp number runs through Trengo, clarify before the move how to release it. Trengo mentions no tool for moving old conversations on the pages we checked.

What does Trengo cost in 2026?

Boost costs €349 per month billed monthly or €299 billed yearly. Pro costs €599 or €499. On top comes an AI surcharge of €0.30 or €0.25 per conversation with AI. As of 28 October 2026.

How many conversations are included at Trengo?

Boost includes 500 conversations per month, Pro 1,500. Each 100 further conversations cost €18 billed monthly or €15 billed yearly.

Can Trengo change orders in Shopify?

According to Trengo's help, the integration only needs read permissions. You see orders in the sidebar. Trengo does not mention changing, refunding or cancelling there.

Where does Trengo keep data?

According to its terms, Trengo uses infrastructure in Frankfurt. The contracting party is Trengo B.V. in the Netherlands. The terms name OpenAI in the US and Google in the EU among the AI services.
